Following on from WQ84949, will the Minister be able to confirm when the 12-week public consultation on the neurodevelopmental action plan will commence in July?
On 6 July I published a Written Statement announcing the publication of a demand and capacity review of neurodevelopmental services which made recommendations on improvement to services and support. I also announced a new improvement programme over the next three years backed by £12million of new investment.
We are working across government to finalise the new neurodevelopmental services action plan. We aim to consult in October on our plans and engage with our stakeholders to ensure we are delivering the changes we all want to see. We are already taking forward our programme of improvement, and I want the new action plan to be in place as soon as practicable.
