What preparatory work has the Welsh Government done regarding the policing of illegal fishing once Britain leaves the EU?

The First Minister has made clear Wales will need its own Fisheries Policy when the UK leaves the EU to safeguard the future prosperity of Wales’ fishing industry and our coastal communities.
My officials have put in place a project to begin to assess the effects of EU transition on fisheries legislation and the associated enforcement aspects.
