What Welsh Government funding has been allocated to the the green recovery task and finish group?
No Welsh Government funding has been allocated to the Green Recovery Group directly. However, funding has been allocated towards proposals contained within the group’s Priorities for Action report, published in 2020.
In 2020/2021 £1.03m capital and £105k revenue funded a package of projects to support biodiversity and an additional £4m capital and £300k revenue was allocated to the Welsh Local Government Association, for onward distribution to Local Authorities for projects that delivered against the Priorities for Action report’s five priorities. Most recently, in this financial year, I have agreed £166,598 of revenue support towards the development of the pilot for a National Nature Service in Wales.
