What consideration has the Minister given to provision for the deaf community to use Wales interpretation and translation service to book translators for their own urgent appointments at NHS facilities?

The Wales Interpretation and Translation Service (WITS) supports some public sector organisations in Wales to meet their obligations under the Equality and Human Rights Act in respect of the needs of the D/deaf community. WITS is provided as a commercial service by a team at Cardiff County Council. Any changes to the existing arrangements would be a matter for Cardiff County Council, rather than the Welsh Government.
