Will the Minister confirm whether the Welsh Government has agreed to cover the shortfall of the expected overspend on the South Wales Metro?

There are regular and ongoing discussions at Ministerial and Official level between the Welsh Government and TfW to consider options to minimise the increased costs faced on the Core Valley Lines Transformation Project whilst still delivering a modern, integrated transport system which transforms the way in which we travel. No decisions have yet been taken.
