Further to Plenary on 7 June 2022, will the First Minister outline the number of children on the child protection register who were looked after by local authorities in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021?

This information is available from the Children Receiving Care and Support Census data collection. However, this collection only includes those children who have a care and support plan at 31 March where the plan has been in place for at least three months. Those children who are on the child protection register at 31 March who were looked after are included within the Looked After cohort within the data.
