What progress has been made in appointing maternity and neonatal champions to each health board in Wales?

The Maternity and Neonatal Safety Support Programme was launched in January. Improvement Cymru, the improvement service for NHS Wales, has been asked to co-ordinate the delivery structure of the programme and provide direct support to health boards to identify maternity and neonatal safety actions. Improvement Cymru is finalising arrangements to recruit the health board maternity and neonatal champions.
