What steps is the Minister taking to ensure that the statutory duty on every highway and national park authority to set up and maintain a local access forum in its area is being adhered to?

Officials are looking at options to tie any future funding support for public rights of way to the existence of a fully functioning Local Access Forum, as well as an up to date Rights of Way Improvement Plan.
