What discussions has the Welsh Government had with local authorities and others about Welsh venues hosting matches and team base camps at Euro 2028?

Alongside other partner governments, Welsh Government have provided in principle support for the Expression of Interest submitted by the relevant Football Associations, including the FAW, indicating continued potential interest in bidding to host the 2028 European Championships. We recognise the scale of opportunity hosting represents and in advance of any formal bid, and taking account of the full UEFA specification, we will continue to engage with all key stakeholders to consider the detailed costs and benefits of hosting the tournament, including training camps.
