How will the Welsh Government ensure that tidal energy schemes in Wales directly benefit the nation?

The Welsh Government is developing a Marine Energy Programme including developing a Tidal Lagoon Challenge, as set out in our Programme for Government.
One of the aims of the programme, as well as supporting a Zero Carbon Economy, will be to seize the supply chain benefits that our marine potential offers for Wales in terms of quality jobs and creating better places to live and work in coastal communities.
