What support did the Welsh Government provide to independent music festivals who were unable to operature during the pandemic?

The Welsh Government supports the establishment, growth and development of a wide range of ‘home-grown’ independent music festivals in Wales, including in 2022: FOCUS Wales, The Big Retreat, Other Voices Cardigan and Tafwyl. In addition, through the three rounds of the Cultural Recovery Fund, support of over £25m has been granted to eligible cultural sector businesses and suppliers including recipients from the live music sector and independent music festivals.
