What guidance and timeline, if any, will the Minister adhere to in respect of the movement of Pentyrch surgery, referred to Welsh Government by South Glamorgan Community Health Council?
The guidance for Engagement and Consultation on changes to health services will be considered when reaching a decision on the adequacy of the consultation undertaken by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board on the re-location of Pentyrch Surgery. I set out the process to be followed in respect of this referral in my letter to you of 14 February 2022. The aim of the process is not to impose strict timelines for completion but rather to ensure that all relevant information is available to the Welsh Ministers to ensure a fair and reasonable decision can be reached.
