Will the Minister confirm that all public bodies across Wales are consistently applying the Welsh Government’s policy on project bank accounts to construction and infrastructure projects?

The Project Bank Accounts policy is mandated for Welsh Government departments unless there are compelling reasons not to do so. Whilst we cannot mandate across Wales, the Welsh Procurement Policy Note promotes the use of PBAs and Welsh public sector bodies are advised to apply PBA policy as best practice in the delivery of self-funded construction and infrastructure projects where appropriate.
