How does the Minister assess the equality impact of his department’s policies?

Equality impact assessments are a mandatory part of the Welsh Government’s policy making process and cover all protected characteristics. These are undertaken as part of a broader, systematic approach to ensuring our policies meet the diverse needs of the people of Wales, known as an Integrated Impact Assessment.
