Further to the written statement on 26 January 2022, will the Minister confirm how the 1 per cent of hospital-acquired infections were calculated and whether this was an average taken from across the pandemic, given that Public Health Wales figures show hospital-acquired infections were 13 per cent in May 2020?

Since the end of June 2021, hospital-acquired cases of COVID-19 have made up around 1% of confirmed cases each week. As can be seen on the Hospital Onset tab of the Public Health Wales rapid surveillance dashboard, the percentage of cases that have been community onset has been at 99% for the vast majority of this period.
