Will the Minister provide an estimate of the cost of the policy of giving every household in Wales a free tree?

The campaign to provide every household in Wales the opportunity to plant a free tree is an innovative policy that aims to engage all people with the multiple benefits planting and managing trees can bring. It is not possible to accurately estimate the cost of the campaign, as this is entirely dependent on take-up. The Welsh Government has allocated up to £2m over the next 3 years to take forward this policy.
