How much money will be available to local authorities to implement the 20mph residential area speed limit from April 2023?

£1,086,565 has already been provided for local authorities to commence some initial preparation works this financial year. A further grant allocation will be made in April 2022 and progress will be reviewed in the autumn, with the possibility of further funding then being made available.
