What action is being taken to progress the Wales in Canada programme?
The first Wales in Canada stakeholder meeting of 2022 took place at the beginning of January, bringing together stakeholders from across Welsh Government, as well as external partners, to ensure that Wales in Canada is a cross-government initiative and that its programme reflects the broad range of Welsh Government’s current priorities.
Due to COVID restrictions, and to ensure optimum public safety, all physical activity programmed for the beginning of the year in Canada has been postponed, however the Welsh Government International Relations team is currently working to deliver virtual activity in its place and plan for safe physical activity from March onwards.
