What is the Welsh Government doing to improve the package of financial support available to businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic?

We recognise this is a very uncertain period for businesses and are doing everything we can to support them. Since the start of the pandemic, the Welsh Government has pulled every lever possible to back Welsh businesses.

Following discussions with partners and trade unions, we have amended the eligibility criteria for the level of reduced turnover for the Economic Resilience Fund (ERF) and increased the Emergency Business Fund grant award for qualifying sole traders, freelancers and taxi drivers who do not pay rates.
