Emissions caused by delivery of goods should be considered as part of local authority procurement processes. The Welsh Public Sector Net Zero Carbon Reporting Guide, published in May, provides guidance for public bodies relating to emissions caused via the delivery of purchased goods and services. A recently published Wales Procurement Policy Notes (WPPNs), WPPN 12/21: Decarbonisation through procurement - Addressing CO2e in supply chains, builds on this guidance.
