Will the Minister provide an update on the hospice funding review?

Reviewing hospice funding and strengthening our focus on end of life care are key Programme for Government commitments.
Work to review hospice funding is being led by the NHS Collaborative/End of Life Care Board and is progressing well. All hospices have completed financial templates and one to one interviews with hospices have also been undertaken. Contact has also been made with the Scottish Government and CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) to see what can be learned from the funding model operating in Scotland.
The report is currently being finalised and recommendations for future funding are scheduled to be available mid-November 2021.
