The Better Jobs Closer to Home programme delivered supply chain interventions to help create employment in the Valleys region. Through this activity, 132 jobs were created at a cost of £500,000, equating to approximately £3,800 per job. The jobs covered various sectors, including garment manufacturing and recycling of products. The lessons learned from the Better Jobs Closer to Home programme are being built into our Foundational Economy work.
