When does the Welsh Government expect the WelTAG stage 2 report looking at the safety of the A40 between Carmarthen and St. Clears to be completed?

To prevent illegal cockling at Lavan Sands, the Welsh Government issues cockle permits to commercial gatherers pursuant to the Cockles and Mussels (Specified Area) (Wales) Order 2011.

Welsh Government Marine Enforcement Officers regularly monitor the cockle beds at Lavan Sands to ensure any commercial gathering is carried out legally and in line with the conditions of the Permits.  They also regulate the limited gathering of cockles for personal use to ensure compliance with local byelaws.
