What consideration has the Welsh Government given to making local health boards statutory consultees for planning purposes?

Local health boards are already statutory consultees during the preparation of local development plans. Planning applications must be determined in accordance with the development plan unless material considerations indicate otherwise. It is therefore important local health boards are involved in plan making so public health and primary care issues can be fully considered during the identification of suitable areas for development.
