Will the Minister confirm how many marine licenses have been granted by Natural Resources Wales between June 2020 and June 2021 for construction, alteration or improvement works related to the renewable energy sector?
Natural Resources Wales issued 9 marine licences between June 2020 and June 2021. Three licences relate to construction, alteration or improvement works associated with the renewable energy sector and six licences were issued in respect of project site survey work.
Furthermore, you may wish to note there are a number of other projects associated with the renewable energy sector currently going through the marine licensing process.
