What action is the Welsh Government taking to improve access to apprenticeships across North Wales?

We have launched a £40 million skills and jobs package to help employers take on and train new workers, including apprentices and young people. Our apprenticeship incentives for recruitment, which will run to 30 September 2021, will help businesses across all parts of Wales to recruit apprentices.
To ensure there is an increase in apprenticeships in North Wales, over the next 5 years we will work with employers, employer bodies and relevant stakeholders to promote apprenticeships across the region through marketing campaigns and targeted regional media activity.
