Will the Minister confirm what plans, events and activities the Welsh Government has scheduled for COP26 later this year?
Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services | Answered on 19/08/2021
We plan to attend COP26 as part of the UK Delegation, as well as joining events with key international networks such as the Under2Coalition and Regions4.
In addition to participating in the events in Glasgow, the Welsh Government will organise a programme of ‘COP Cymru’ activity here in Wales in the lead up to, during and after the UN conference. These events will give opportunities for our stakeholders across Wales to get involved in delivery of our forthcoming Net Zero Plan.
