Will the Minister confirm what discussions the Welsh Government has undertaken with the UK Government to encourage countries to recognise AstraZeneca doses that were made by the Serum Institute of India, so as to prevent the need for self-isolation on arrival for fully vaccinated individuals?

There have been reports that certain countries were not accepting specific AstraZeneca vaccine batch numbers manufactured in India. Where there is a misunderstanding with individual countries, the UK Government has agreed to discuss the integrity of the vaccines directly with the relevant Government. For example Malta was previously not accepting these batch numbers and this has been resolved.
