Will the Minister provide an update on the timetable for the delivery of the Maes Gamedd junction improvement on the A494 trunk road in Gwyddelwern?

Due to the disruption encountered by COVID the proposed construction start date has been delayed until later this financial year. We have environmental and geotechnical design elements to finalise, and the extent of land take and accommodation works have yet to be agreed. All landowners and their Agents have been kept informed.
Any future decisions relating to road improvement schemes will be made in full consultation with local residents and elected members and in alignment with our new Wales Transport Strategy and the outcomes of the Roads Review.
