Will the Minister provide an update on what work the Welsh Government is doing to protect park home owners?

here is no current ongoing consultation.

I am, however, committed to reviewing the decision to change the commission rate from the sale of a residential park home. I will provide an outline of next steps in the autumn term.

Under the Mobile Homes (Wales) Act 2013, a home owner is entitled to the quiet enjoyment of their home and pitch without interference or interruption by their site owner or anyone else involved in the site management intruding, unless for reasons permitted under the terms of the agreement.

I would encourage anyone that is aware of bad practice to report it to their local authority for further investigation.  Where a licence holder contravenes the fit and proper person test during the period of the licence, a local authority may apply to the Residential Property Tribunal Wales for an order revoking the site licence. A person guilty of an offence is liable for conviction and/or an unlimited fine.
