What representations has the Welsh Government made to the UK Government on the rights of non-binary people?

The Welsh Government has made clear its commitment to enhancing the rights of non-binary people. We have made a number of public statements to this effect and raised our concerns about the UK Government’s lack of action in relation to the Gender Recognition Act on numerous occasions.
Our LGBTQ+ Action Plan, which will be published for consultation shortly, will outline our intentions to increase the rights of non-binary people. It will also set out our aim to seek the devolution of powers in relation to gender recognition, as set out in the Programme for Government.
