The Office for National Statistics publishes weekly data on deaths in Wales, including information broken down by place of occurrence. This includes deaths where COVID-19 was mentioned anywhere on the death certificate, a test is not required.
There are no official figures on how many of these deaths involve where coronavirus was acquired in a hospital setting.
