Will the Minister confirm if the Welsh Government is going to provide extra funding to Powys County Council to repair the county owned highway network that was damaged as a result of excessive use due to the closure of the A479 south of Talgarth?

I can confirm that my officials have met with Powys County Council officers and agreed to fund the more immediate repairs to address issues caused on the local road network during the closure of the A479. Discussions are ongoing regarding the more permanent repair of the local roads to help Powys County Council with funding these works.
