How many rural schools in Wales have been closed since 2016?

30 schools have closed and 56 schools have been amalgamated since 2016 in the 9 local authorities classed as rural (Isle of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Powys, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Monmouthshire).
In the same 9 local authorities, 26 schools opened.
