What discussions has the Minister had with those involved in the industrial dispute at British Gas, particularly regarding the practice of fire and rehire?

I have raised this issue with all parties involved – with Chris O’Shea, the CEO of Centrica, with GMB which represents many of the affected workers and with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
I am very concerned there has been no satisfactory outcome and will continue to urge the company to re-enter talks with the GMB to negotiate an agreement that best serves the interests of the company, its employees and customers.
The First Minister has also urged Centrica to come to a negotiated agreement.
