Will the Welsh Government make a statement regarding border control points at Pembroke Dock and Fishguard ports, following the UK National Audit Office report warning of significant disruption, regardless of whether a trade deal is agreed by 1 January 2021?

We have been frustrated by the very late engagement in this process by UK Government and, following a recent HMRC decision, will be moving forward with delivering a standalone BCP facility. Whilst this makes delivery very challenging, we are working closely with the local authorities and the ports and have procured consultancy services to deliver the facilities required and minimise disruption at the ports.
