Given that the Republic of Ireland is part of the common travel area, what action has the Welsh Government taken to prevent people travelling to Wales from parts of Ireland with high levels of the coronavirus infection?

The firebreak regulations prevents any person living outside Wales from entering or remaining in Wales without a reasonable excuse. This includes people from the Republic of Ireland.

The Republic of Ireland has also put in place Level 5 national restrictions requiring residents to stay at home and exercise within 5 kilometres of home.
