Rent Smart Wales update the figures for property registrations and the number of landlords licensed on a monthly basis. The latest figures, which show a cumulative figure since the inception of Rent Smart Wales, can be found under ‘Performance and Research’ at:

The latest figures provided by Rent Smart Wales show that since inception, 27 landlord licences have been refused due to the applicant being deemed as “not fit and proper”.
