Current advice for public transport in Wales remains that people should use it only for essential journeys, or if they have no other options. This is to ensure the effectiveness of current social distancing measures and to allow space for people whose public transport use is essential.
Travelers have been advised where possible to plan their journey and not travel at peak times, as the acceptable safe capacity of trains has inevitably been reduced.
