What discussions has the Minister had with the UK Government regarding the provision of financial support for businesses in sectors where the restrictions will last the longest, in light of comments made by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Wales in a North Wales Economic Ambition Board question time session?

I have weekly meetings with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Business and Industry) Nadhim Zahawi MP and the Secretary of State for Wales and make representations to them both about financial support to business provided by the UK Government and in particular, asked both to consider bespoke support for sectors such as tourism and heritage who will be most impacted. I have also sent representations with the Minister for Finance and Trefnydd, to the Chancellor Rishi Sunak MP, the latest of which was dated 4th June and I have placed a copy of this letter in the members library.
