Will the Welsh Government outline their policy regarding Covid-19 restrictions and confirm if the relaxation or re-imposing of such restrictions could be considered by geographical area instead of or in addition to the industrial or occupational sector?

The 21-day reviews of the lockdown regulations and restrictions involve the consideration of a range of options and an extensive body of supporting evidence.  We are exploring how we can work with the Joint Biosecurity Centre on a four-nations basis to inform future more tailored responses.  We are currently relaxing restrictions on an all-Wales basis, but are keeping this under review as we get better information on the rates of infection across different geographies, places and settings.  This opens up the possibility in the future for containing smaller outbreaks in a more targeted way.
