Will the Minister consider enabling Visit Wales to create an online booking platform for accommodation in Wales so that the tourism sector loses a smaller or no percentage of their nightly rate?

We are considering a wide range of suggestions in relation to supporting tourism in these difficult times.
We remain committed to supporting Welsh businesses online and in this context we have revised the accommodation (and other product) listings on VisitWales.com. Entries are now easier to maintain and offer opportunities to add galleries, video and very importantly a booking “call to action” option which businesses can set to their own system to facilitate a direct booking.
