Will the Minister make a statement on the restrictions surrounding the sport of clay shooting during the Covid-19 lockdown and whether there are any intentions of allowing this sport to continue under social distancing rules?

Answered by Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism | Answered on 05/06/2020

The coronavirus regulations were reviewed on 28 May by the Welsh Government in light of the latest scientific and medical evidence about the spread of coronavirus in Wales.

From 1 June, the regulations were amended to enable people from two different households in the same local area to meet up as long as they are outdoors and they maintain strict social distancing and hand hygiene.

There are no restrictions on exercise in the outdoors, which starts and finishes at the place where the person is living
