What action is the Welsh Government taking regarding the 399 jobs in Wales at risk at British Airways?

I recognise the pressure on the industry and I have written to UK Government to ask that this sector be considered for further, targeted assistance.
On 21 May, I spoke with with the Head of Corporate Affairs at International Airlines Group, which owns BA and I was informed the announcement on the 21st May is the start of a 45 day consultation period - it would not therefore be appropriate to comment further until the outcome of this consultation is known.
Be assured that the Welsh Government will do all that it can to mitigate any job losses that may come about through its REACT programme.
