What action has the Commission undertaken to re-prioritise its budget as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and what changes have been made?

At its meeting on 4 May 2020, Commissioners were briefed on and discussed the Commission’s actions in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The financial impact on the Commission budget, actual and predicted, was an important part of that discussion.
As we are at the beginning of the financial year it is too early for the Commission to identify any specific changes to re-prioritise its budget for 2020-21. Commissioners will keep this situation under constant review as we begin to exit from the current lockdown arrangements.
