The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust does not generate any income from the 0845 46 47 telephone number.
The NHS 111 service which is being rolled out across Wales will improve access and signposting to services, clinical advice and treatment 24/7 through a free-to-call number from both landlines and mobile phones. The 111 number is currently operational in Swansea Bay UHB including Bridgend, Hywel Dda UHB, Powys tHB and Aneurin Bevan UHB.
