Will the Welsh Government provide a description of the various support packages that have been offered to Stena Line, along with any conditions put on that assistance in terms of protecting workers' interests?

Stena Line Ports Ltd. received £499,200 from the Ports Development fund in Financial Year 2017/18 to assist in the development of a project to reclaim and reconstruct land at Holyhead port, including preparation of a master plan, environment impact assessment, plus association studies and surveys. A condition of the grant offer was for Stena Line Ports Ltd. to apply a policy of equal opportunities as employers, as users of volunteers, and as providers of services, regardless of race, gender/gender identification, sexual orientation, religion and belief, age or any disability in connection with this award.

There was also a Tourism Investment Support Scheme (TISS) grant of £147,598 awarded to Stena Line Ports Ltd in January 2016, with a project cost of £151,000, with no job creation linked to this project. The purposes of the funding was to facilitate the construction of dedicated cruise passenger tendering pontoon and associated landing facilities at Fishguard Harbour.
