Will the Minister provide details of any instances during the past five years when health provision was moved from the counties of Anglesey and Gwynedd to the eastern counties of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board area?

Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services | Answered on 06/12/2019

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has a strategic responsibility to ensure safe and sustainable services for its population across North Wales. Health provision changes could be made for a number of reasons, on both a service and patient level, including timely access to care and ensuring delivery is in line with clinical standards.  Welsh Government does not collect details of all instances, this would occur within an individual health board area.  It will only hold details of substantial change of how services are to be delivered within a health board area.
