Will the Minister confirm that all farmers in Wales will be eligible to apply for the 90 per cent loan on Single Farm Payments which the Welsh Government is making available this year to assist farm businesses with cash flow?
The 2019 Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) Support Scheme is open to farm businesses who hold valid BPS entitlements available for use in 2019, submitted a claim for 2019 BPS via the Single Application Form and have not received payments exceeding the agricultural de minimis State Aid limit of €20,000 in the current fiscal year and in the previous two fiscal years combined.
BPS Support Scheme payments cannot be made to farm businesses who have Grant of Probate action outstanding. All applications will be subject to validation checks and payment may not be made under certain circumstances, for example where significant errors have been found at inspection.
