Will the Counsel General outline expenditure incurred to date in respect of the provision of legal advice/ counsel by external lawyers for both past and current special advisers, on matters relating to the Paul Bowen inquest, since 7 November 2017?

Answered by Counsel General and Brexit Minister | Answered on 09/10/2019

The information is not held by the Welsh Government. All solicitors’ firms and barristers engaged by the Welsh Government provide legal advice/support to the Welsh Government, and not to individual members of staff within the Welsh Government. No records of legal expenditure are kept by reference to Ministers, nor by reference to individual members of staff who are involved in any matter.
